Just for Fun…Where are the Moose?

Pam’s joy for driving also amused her while traveling through Maine seeing along the highway multiple posted alerts for Moose crossings. I have read that Moose are common in Maine, as evidenced on the number of signs noted along the highways. As noted on Google, Maine has the largest moose population in the continental US. Google also answers: What are the odds of seeing a moose? estimated 10 to 15 percent!

I guess this moose counts as one….

So after our entire time in Maine, I needed one last picture, we were stopped in a traffic delay on the highway and I have a souvenir picture… Ha! Ha!

Stay tuned for more of our shared experiences!

Arrividerci!

From Maine to Florence, Italy—this new journey clocks in at a few more miles than our usual ride up the coast. According to Google, we’re traveling approximately 4,500 miles depending on air travel… that would be a long road trip! Thank goodness we can leave the drive to the airline. Yikes!

We’re off to indulge in delicious cuisine, soak in the iconic vistas of Italian cypress trees lining the rolling Tuscan hills, and take part in a hands-on cooking class at an Agriturismo just outside our home base. Evenings promise peaceful sunsets viewed from our apartment patio, and with a rental car at the ready, we’ll be exploring even more treasures tucked into the Tuscan countryside.

Stare bene! ( Be well!) Thanks for letting us share with you!
